LEGAL COUNSEL – ASSET MANAGEMENT
A growing asset management business who have created this new role to support their growing business in the Asia region.
Reporting to the Director of the business, you will be responsible for all legal requirements for the business including the set up of new funds and commercial law requirements around project investment. You will also need to handle all corporate legal matters and be involved in projects that affect the firm. This is a new role for the firm as they are growing rapidly and therefore there is an opportunity to set up and develop operational practice as you wish.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 5 years post qualification experience and you will need strong experience/knowledge of the funds and asset management industry. Specifically you will need the experience and knowledge in the set up of funds/fund management companies and commercial law dealing with project investment in the Asia market. Ideally you will have experience in house from the industry but an exceptional candidate from practice may be considered if you have the relevant knowledge. Fluent English is a critical requirement with Chinese being an advantage. You should also be a proactive, results driven individual who can work well as a team as well as delivering personally.
