Commercial Lawyer 11 month Fixed Term Contract Compeditive Negotiable Salary
My client is a Financial Services company who require an experienced commercial lawyer with at least 5 years PQE to cover a maternity leave contract. Financial services experience especially in a Treasury or trading environment would be particularily advantageous.
Requirements
- Reviews, documents and negotiates a wide variety of commercial contracts necessary to support the business, including business and technology agreements.
- Advises on corporate transactions.
- Documents and negotiates employment agreements and advises on employment-related issues.
- Proactively identifies and evaluates legal risks associated with new businesses and transactions.
- Advises on company law and company secretarial matters.
Knowledge
- Must have strong negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and communication.
- Strong academic credentials and superior writing and analytical skills.
At least 5 yearsrsquo; prior corporate legal experience. Some securities or financial services related legal experience desirable.
