Reporting to General Counsel, you will advise on legal aspects of transactions for the Australian development and communities businesses. In addition, you will provide strategic legal advice to region as required, negotiate and facilitate legal documents for individual transactions and manage external legal resource, cost and budgets as appropriate.
To be considered for this position, you will have a substantial legal background in commercial and property development. You will have a comprehensive grasp of legal issues relating to commercial, retail and residential development, including property development agreements, land management agreements, joint ventures, sales and acquisitions, agreements for lease and lease, planning, and titling.
Pivotal to success is your ability to foster strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholder groups, both internal and external to the business and demonstrate a collaborative approach to decision making. We are also seeking someone who can respond to a wide variety of tasks and situations and has proven self-management and organisational ability, including planning, control, prioritising and timeliness
