Legal Counsel, Legal and Compliance recruitment
Our client is a leading international banking group, amongst the largest in Asia. Its Hong Kong office is looking to take on legal counsel to handle legal and compliance in the region.
This a Legal/Risk Management position reporting to the Asia Legal Head. Legal position covering multiple geographies and regulatory environments across all lines of business.
Requirements
- HK qualified lawyer
- Minimum of six years post qualification experience
- Open to speaking with lawyers in Hong Kong in private practice or working In-House with a financial institution
- Have experience in Banking Regulatory, Dispute Resolution
- Have experience in wealth management, with a good knowledge of SFC rules and regulations
- Be comfortable in dealing with multi-jurisdictional issues
- Fluent spoken English with Cantonese or Mandarin language (either Chinese language is fine)
