Legal Counsel – Luxury Goods recruitment
Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate should have experience in general corporate and commercial matters including, but not limited to, sales and purchase agreements, MA and JV activities, plus knowledge of franchise agreements would be useful. You will have the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice to a variety of business units and able to work independently. Applicants with international law firm experience are preferred and with additional in-house expertise. Prospective candidates straight from practice are welcome, but will need to demonstrate their commercial business acumen. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is expected owing to the regional nature of the job.
Requirements:
- 7 to 10 years PQE
- International law firm experience preferred
- General Corporate and Commercial legal experience
- Experience of cross-border transactions, including significant experience of China deals
- Ability to work independently and provide solutions
- Can deliver high quality work
- Fluent spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Able to write in traditional and simplified Chinese preferred
