LEGAL COUNSEL M&A / CORPORATE VENTURE CAPITAL Job in Basel 4058, Basel-Stadt Switzerland
In this role you will contribute to delivering the mission of the Corporate Legal Affairs (CLA) group.
Areas of work cover, in particular, mergers acquisitions, incl. merger control, corporate law, securities law (including listing and reporting requirements) and Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) transactions.
Main tasks:
As Corporate Counsel you will have primary responsibility to provide legal support regarding Syngenta’s worldwide MA and CVC activities. Further, you are expected to provide professional and client-focused legal advice and guidance to assigned activities of Syngenta’s corporate functions.
In this role, you will provide legal support regarding corporate projects, in particular MA and CVC transactions worldwide, joint ventures and strategic partnerships. Further to transactional support, you will shape and further develop the governance framework for the MA and CVC-processes and policies.
