Team and company:
- The company is over 100 years old and today it is an international financial services company with significant operations in Asia, the US and the UK.
- The team operate in over 10 jurisdictions (Asia) – Hong Kong, Taiwan, the People’s Republic of China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, Korea and India
- The team has over 50 Lawyers across these locations with 7 based in Hong Kong
- This role is through expansion and growth of the Asia-Pac team.
Requirements and expectations:
- 5 + years PQE
- Commonwealth qualification essential
- You will spend significant time working on Asia cross-border corporate and commercial matters, experience in this area highly desirable
- An understanding of Hong Kong listing rules desirable
- The role can operate out of Singapore or Hong Kong offering excellent flexibility for those with families and other commitments
- You will be a hands on individual and willing to handle a wide variety of work, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as intellectual property, employment and IT related matters
- Strong level of English and Chinese language essential
