Job Description:
The overall function is to oversee the legal function in Singapore, and support legal related activities.
Specific responsibilities include:
As the Legal Counsel Team Lead, you would be leading the Legal Team to achieve goals and plans set by Management. You will be required to oversee the Legal function in Singapore office, provide legal advice to internal customers, provide training on legal matters, keep and update legal framework to ensure bank has robust framework to mitigate legal risks. You will also instruct and give directions for the Legal Team, mentor and coach subordinates.
Requirements
The successful legal counsel team lead would have 8 years of legal experience (min 7 PQE) and have been admitted to Singapore bar. Experience in banking law is preferred but not essential.
