Description:

A well established legal software company in the Owings Mills area is seeking an Entry Level Help Desk Technician.  The incumbent will provide courteous telephone and email support to clients of all skill levels, troubleshoot, research, diagnose, and resolve all reported client incidents.  The technician will also record each incident in detail, test and evaluate current and future software releases to ensure stability, and perform other duties as assigned.  This is a great opportunity to learn the software support business and become one of the primary contacts for all incoming support calls. 

 

Requirements:

The candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be patient, organized, and have a strong work ethic and excellent phone demeanor.  This is a fast-paced environment with a high call volume.  Knowledge of Windows,  MS Office including Outlook, and experience installing software is preferred.  Knowledge of Sybase database engine, Terminal Server, TCP/IP, and command line utilities is helpful. This position requires occasional after-hours support (pager duty).
