BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW
SSG in EMEA is a business in the Fixed Income area of the Securities Division involved in special situations and structured credit products. The EMEA business is part of a global group and invests across a wide spectrum of industries.
This legal department role involves working within a small team and reporting to a London-based legal department Managing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Dedicated lawyer for SSG in EMEA with strong emphasis on transactional support and execution. Deals will include equity investments and debt financings in both the primary and secondary markets and restructurings with considerable interaction with both front-line bankers and other support functions, including compliance.
Basic Qualifications
One to three years qualified corporate lawyer from a law firm, bank or investment firm. Some banking and/or restructuring experience would also be an advantage. Good team player capable of working proactively in fast-paced environment. UK or US qualified lawyer.
