Lending Executive
Macquarie Personal Banking (MPB), a division of the Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS). The Direct Sales Team is an inbound/outbound phone based sales team that promotes all of the managed funds, lending products and cash investments that Macquarie has to offer.
The Direct Sales team is looking for capable, enthusiastic and sales driven candidates to join the team. As a Lending Executive, you will develop a thorough understanding of Macquarie's suite of lending products in order to provide a high level of service and a good client experience. Your role involves managing the client journey from initial contact with the client through to settlement of their property and possessing a sound understanding of the credit process/parameters within the industry. You will also be responsible for generating leads to financial planners, credit cards, cash and online trading.
More about the role:
- Qualifying leads via phone/email/face-to-face and managing leads from enquiry to settlement;
- Identifying entities and evaluating their serviceability, as well as reviewing applicant tax returns to determine suitability;
- Preliminary credit assessments including suitability for the loan for the client;
- Liaising with solicitors, valuers and third parties for the timely settlement of loans;
- Ensuring compliance and adherence to procedures.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (commerce/accounting/finance/mathematics);
- Diploma of Mortgage Broking or lending experience is highly desirable;
- Demonstrated experience in sales and understanding of the sales cycle;
- Strong customer service skills with ability to communicate complex issues in clear and understandable terms;
- Highly driven and motivated to achieve individual and team targets;
- Ability to identify cross selling opportunities;
- Strong attention to detail is a must;
- Excellent personal presentation with strong communication skills.
