LENDING MANAGER 1
Responsible for supervising lenders engaged in approving loan applications. Functions include: managing units workflow to ensure that groups customer service standards are met and unit procedures are current and in compliance with government and Bank regulations; analyzing workflow policies/procedures and recommending changes as appropriate; maintaining appropriate records/documents under specified security control; creating and maintaining programs and reports; assisting in hiring, firing, setting performance standards, training, writing/conducting performance reviews. May be responsible for the approval of second level reviews Basic Qualifications: 3+ years lending experience and 1+ years experience in a management or team leadership role. Minimum Qualifications: - Expertise leading a team in the underwriting of conventional conforming and non conforming loan products. - Expertise around the underwriting of government loans (FHA/VA), bond loans, and manufactured housing loans. - Strong understanding of Underwriting guidelines and policies. - Must possess proven leadership and change management capabilities and ability to motivate team members to achieve high performance and results. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: - DE/CHUMS ID. - VA/LAPP/SAR.
