LENDING MANAGER 2

The primary goal of the Home Preservation Department is to mitigate loss for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage while allowing the mortgagor(s) to retain their home. The Lending Manager 2 will be responsible for managing Home Preservation Underwriters for the Private portfolio. General Description: Responsible for managing a section or department engaged in making lending decisions on a wide range of products. Functions include: - Ensuring group's underwriting and customer service levels are met; monitoring credit quality; approving loans within established loan approval limits. - Ensuring compliance with all appropriate Bank policies and regulations. - Working with business unit managers to understand servicing needs and make or recommend adjustments to provide improved turnaround times and customer service. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years lending experience and 2+ years management experience. Minimum Qualifications: - Must have previous experience managing other exempt level staff or team managers in Servicing /Default/Consumer Store Sales/Underwriting or fulfillment areas. - Ability, knowledge and experience in working with process improvement teams. - Ability to lead and implement strategic underwriting and policy initiatives/changes. - Proven experience in working with and maintaining relationships with key Corporate partners. Preferred Skills: - Underwriting or related Credit analysis experience. - Capable of analyzing income documents, performing cash flows, assessing credit risk/loss exposure on a consumer basis. - Proven communication skills-both at Agent and Sr. Mgt. levels. - Proven ability/experience level in communicating and partnering with remote UW teams. - Previous experience in Loss Mitigation /Real Estate Servicing and or Collections Wells Fargo is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V. �© 2012 Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
