My client is a market leading, household name in the financial services and insurance industry. Due to continued success and growth, they are seeking a Claims Consultant to join their busy and motivated lending mortgage insurance team based in Sydney CBD on an 8 month contract with the possibility of extension.
You will be working in a specialist lending mortgage claims team in my clients city based, modern offices and your key responsibilities will include:
- Take ownership of hardship, delinquency and claims management
- Maintain risk monitoring controls
- Manage risk acceptance
- Meet monthly service level targets
- To assist manager with various ad hoc duties
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated strategic thinker and will be able to demonstrate the below:
- An in depth knowledge of lending mortgage insurance and the associated risks
- Previous claims experience - ideally with in lending mortgage insurance
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Have a good business acumen and decision making skills
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
