Lending Officer - Executive level
Reporting to the Senior Manager
The Role:
Ensure the administration of the team's portfolio is carried out to the highest standard, including preparing facility and instruction letters, completing legal and drawdown documentation, managing client files and inputting information onto the various Banking systems
Essential Duties:
- Assist in the day to day administration of a portfolio of loans with emphasis on ensuring compliance with the various codes of practice
- Assist in the preparation of credit papers and work closely with the Manager prior to presenting to credit committee
- Assist in the preparation of regular team reports and report to senior management
- Ensure all account maintenance, documentation and file management is maintained to the highest possible standards
- Ensure issues are identified, escalated as appropriate and addressed promptly
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and complete associated documentation
- Excellent financial analysis and credit analysis skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities (including work of others)
Skills Abilities
- Ability to prioritise work under time constraints and deliver to required deadlines
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy required
- Ability to work on their own initiative as well as taking instruction from others
- Ability to achieve results and a prover commitment to attaining desiered goals
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills necessary
- Strong team player as well as the ability to work on own initiative
Education:
- Relevant Business Degree (min 2.1)
- QFA qualified or working towards this
