Position: Level 2 Deskside Support Engineer

Type: 6-12 month contract

Location: Cork / Kildare

Salary: €25,000 - €35,000

 

Our client is a successful Irish organisation providing maintenance, hardware and support services to indigenous and multinational companies in Ireland.

 

The job:

Based on a customer site and supported by a team of networking specialist you will provide deskside support to company users. Your duties will include all relevant deskside support duties, such as diagnosing and fixing issues with hardware, software, printers, etc, as well hardware installation, general maintenance work and providing technical support.

 

The requirements:

·          Previous experience in a deskside support position, ideally equipped with MCP certifications

·          Strong knowledge of PC hardware and printers, Microsoft OS, as well as some network and cabling knowledge

·          High level of initiative, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills

·          Flexibility to occasionally work out of hours when required
