Technisource is currently seeking a Level 2 Desktop Support Analyst for a 12 month contract-to-hire position in Norcross, GA.

Desktop Support Analyst

Under supervision, the Desktop Support Analyst will provide hands-on, second tier technical support and maintenance for the Fiservs Information Systems computing environment including support for day-to-day operations of all company-standard hardware and software technologies for desktop and laptop platforms. Participate in technical projects as needed and properly utilize the Fiserv Service Center system for logging, tracking, and communication of technical support issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Install, support, and maintain PC software in a Windows 2000/2003/XP Active Directory environment. Software includes Operating Systems, PC system management tools such as LANDesk and Imaging software, and industry specific business software within the organization such as MS Office, SAP, Lotus Notes, VPN and Terminal emulation applications.
 Install, support, and maintain PC hardware in a multi-platform environment including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers and audiovisual equipment.
 Maintain proper documentation, as required by the leadership of Corporate IT, to properly track the status of all service calls, to assist the helpdesk in providing prompt response to users, and report on the progress of duties related to project participation.
 Provide appropriate priority response to any situation as deemed necessary by the helpdesk and/or the leadership of Corporate IT.
 Support and participate in the continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of care and services provided.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
 High School Diploma or equivalent with a preferred interest in an Information Technology career.
 This is a junior level position with minimal experience required working in a corporate environment. However computer experience and knowledge is required. The ideal candidate would be currently pursuing or enrolled in Information Technology classes or certificate programs. See additional requirements listed below.

 Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships across entire company and with vendors.
