Leveraged Finance Manager recruitment
Leveraged Finance Investment Associate required by leading European fund management group in Central London
The team is looking to hire a Leveraged Finance Investment Associate focused on the analysis of European leveraged transactions for investment across a variety of funds including open ended/segregated mandates, CLOs/CDOs and internal funds.
The role will include:
- Analysing investment opportunities though bottom up credit analysis, noting relative value within capital structures and against other instruments;
- Verbal and written presentation to internal credit committees;
- Monitoring of the existing portfolio, both formally and informally;
- Assisting in restructurings and other negotiations where appropriate; and
- Attendance at external meetings.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong credit skills gained through prior experience with a lead arranging bank or another buyside institution;
- Have excellent cash-flow modelling skills;
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Be commercially astute with appreciation of relevant legal structures and documentation;
- Be motivated and a self starter and able to work independently
