JOB TITLE: Forklift Operator LOCATION: El Paso Texas LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Contract (Possible Temp to Perm) PAY RATE: $9.50 per hour SHIFT HOURS: Tuesday ? Friday 4pm ? 12:30am, Saturday 8am ? 4:30pm Key Responsibilities · Accurately match numbers letters · Accurately stage and sort products for loading Loads and unloads trailers · Opens and closes dock doors · Move materials within the warehouse · Complies with all safety requirements · Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system · Quality control · Complete daily logs · Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received Electronically scan products using a warehouse · Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets · Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber · Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) · Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations · for shipment (where applicable) · Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor · Microsoft computer knowledge: Excel, outlook, Word. · Basic knowledge of computers. · Work Idenpendently Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/ GED Demonstrated interpersonal and verbal communication skills including excellent telephone skills Good understanding through direct experience in the area of warehousing · At least 1 year of warehousing or material-handling (using hand/power tools and hand truck) equipment experience Fast and enthusiastic learner Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment Customer and team oriented Able to work with little or no supervision Qualifications must include: Role will Perform the Following Duties * Only candidates that meet all of the below requirements need apply. Ø High school degree or GED preferred. Ø 1 - 2year prior experience in is preferred. Ø Should have basic to intermediate level soft ware experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
