We are interested in meeting Licensed Practical Nurses for a temporary call center assignment.  As part of our team, you will share your abundant medical knowledge with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals in a comfortable, professional office environment.

The normal hours of operation are Monday - Friday with 8 hour shifts between 8 AM - 8 PM. We work with you to provide a predictable schedule that allows for planned personal time. The program is expected to last approximately three (3) months in duration; length of the program is to be evaluated on an ongoing basis, and may be adjusted at any time.

 

You must have a valid PA or NJ license to apply.  Complete training will be provided. Our client provides frequent follow up sessions to keep you aware of the latest developments.  We invest in your success.

 

GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE:

The members of our temporary nurse team will make outbound calls to caregivers of patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease. The purpose of the calls is to build rapport and provide professional, compassionate and empathetic support to caregivers to help increase their confidence in their caregiving abilities and better cope with common challenges. The nurse team will also respond to inbound calls from enrolled caregivers who may have further questions about coping with their role, or about how to use the prescribed treatment correctly.

 

Job Responsibilities:

-Respond to medical information inquires from healthcare professionals and caregivers on pharmaceutical programs in an accurate, timely and professional manner.

-Interact with caregivers in a professional, positive and supportive manner

-Effectively communicate the details of the caregiver support program

-Utilize information systems to respond to patient and healthcare professional inquires using external online database tools.

-Recognize and do first line documentation of product quality complaints and adverse events

-Ensure caregiver information is captured and entered correctly into the program database

-Provide feedback to Team/Program leader on a regular basis about key trends or insights learned through interactions with enrolled caregivers, as well as any improvements or suggestions to improve program efficiencies.

-Keep professional licensing/registration current and up to date

 

Job Requirements:

-Active PA, NJ, or DE Practical Nursing Licensure required

-Previous experience with Alzheimer’s patients and caregivers, either professionally or personally, particularly in the mild to moderate stages of the disease required

-Strong clinical background

-Desire to engage in continual education process

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; at ease with a wide range of individuals and personalities

-Strong ability to use and learn PC technology

-Strong analytical, troubleshooting, teamwork abilities and demonstrated client focus.

-Outstanding rapport-building skills and counseling capabilities

-Attention to detail in accurately collecting information for online caregiver records and adverse event reports

-Able to absorb pharmaceutical product knowledge and learn new communication skills as required

-Excellent organizational and time management skills

-Proactive thinker who is always looking for ways to improve processes
