Applications are now sought from qualified and experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for a position with our Aerospace team in Tamworth, New South Wales. The role will see you carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on General Aviation aircraft and aircraft components at our flight training school as a key member of the maintenance team. You will also contribute to an efficient, productive and harmonious working environment whilst satisfying the customer and enabling the organisation to meet its objectives and fulfill its obligations.
Daily responsibilities will see you:
• Performing maintenance activities including repairs and modifications to aircraft and aircraft components
• Certifying maintenance activities
• Ensuring organisational and legislative safety, health and environment regulations are observed and met
• Meeting appropriate standards and procedures for aircraft and aircraft component maintenance activities
• Ensuring all activities are carried out to a high standard of workmanship providing aircraft in a safe and serviceable condition to meet operational requirements
• Monitoring and maintaining the flight line
• Ensuring the hangar, tools and ground equipment are maintained in a serviceable, clean and tidy condition
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualifications in a General Aviation environment with either engine/airframe/ instrument or electrical background
• Knowledge of CASA requirements
• Sound planning and self-management skills
• Well developed written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team based environment with a self-motivated attitude
• Well-developed communication skills and strong team orientation
