SunAmerica Retirement Markets (Los Angeles, CA) is growing stronger and expanding with a rewarding opportunity for the driven sales professional interested in continuing their career as a Licensed Internal Wholesaler.

The Internal Wholesaler will work closely with an assigned External Wholesaler as a business development resource to
Financial Advisors Planners for SunAmerica Variable Annuity products.

The Internal Wholesaler will be primarily responsible for gathering and utilizing marketing intelligence to increase sales for a specific territory. Together with your assigned External Wholesaler this position is responsible for developing new and maintaining existing business relationships.

You will conduct comprehensive discussions with your assigned External Wholesaler on what is working and what is not in relation to sales. How you pitch certain elements of the products to Advisors and how you handle certain objections, as well as learning their system. Each External Wholesaler has a system in how they like to operate with their producers as well as some of the prospects that they work with.

During the 3 week training class you will learn the technical aspects of our variable annuity products to effectively convey to
Financial Advisors in such a way that they and their clients can understand. With that being said, we have dedicated Team Leaders that will meet with you 2-3 sometimes more each month to provide you with ongoing training of our processes and systems. Not only will you have our team leadership staff to support on going training, you will also have other Internal Wholesalers within your team as support.

Business relationships are forged via proactively contacting
Financial Advisors and providing sales support by responding to advisors calls regarding our products. Proactive outbound calls to
Financial Advisors will account for 85%-95% of your daily activity, as these activities include, but are not limited to:

- Calling on the corporate call focus and message.
- Product positioning for the
Financial Advisors clients.
- Uncovering the needs of the advisor and how SunAmerica-s product will fit that need.
- Educating advisors on the SunAmerica variable annuity products.

The remaining 5%-15% of daily activity will include, but not be limited to:
- Responding to calls and questions about SunAmerica-s variable annuity.
- Addressing and working through challenges to the business development process.
- Corresponding via email to Advisors, External Wholesalers, and other internal departments.
- Creating and sending case specific illustrations SunAmerica-s variable annuity.
- Sending marketing materials.

The selected candidate should be a goal oriented, self directed individual who is constantly striving to exceed expectations with an enthusiastic sales attitude. The candidate should also be motivated by achieving set goals and increasing sales within a designated territory.

2. Development and implement a territory plan.
3. Become a recognized product line and industry expert.
4. Establish a professional outbound calling process.
5. Improve call quality by providing real time solutions on each call.
6. Develop deep on-going relationships with each account.
7. Handle inbound calls professionally and accurately.
8. Manage and organize a high volume of activity.

Position Requirements
- FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 and Series 63 or Series 66 Licenses.
- California DOI Life/Health and Variable Contract License which can be obtained post hire.
- Top notch phone and interpersonal communication skills both written verbal levels.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor-s Degree or work experience equivalent with an emphasis on marketing/business.
- Two plus years of sales/marketing experience.
- Two plus years financial services or investment management experience.
