Shepherd Center is a world-renowned, non-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord or brain injury. We are seeking a full-time Counselor to provide education and counseling services for families whose loved ones have
experienced an acquired brain injury,
spinal cord injury, or other neurological events and provide consultation to
professional staff regarding coping and adjustment issues.
Minimum Masters degree in counseling with speciality in family and or mental health/behavioral issues. Must have
appropriate professional licensure in the State of Georgia. Prefer exp. working with
families who have experienced
catastrophic injuries and experience with both individual and group therapy
services.
