Our Client, a leading European Reinsurer is seeking a life and health Underwriter.
The Role
As a member of the Life Health Team based in Singapore, your role will be to build client relationships and provide underwriting related services to Life Health clients in South East Asia. This role will require client contact and some travel, as well as close co-operation with other teams.
Establishes maintains strong relationships with clients in SEA market. Marketing and relationship building with key clients. Participates in departmental or companywide projects in relation to underwriting . Assesses and accepts group and individual life reinsurance in accordance with underwriting guidelines. Provide input to tenders and product development. Develops and conducts appropriate underwriting training programs for clients. Co-ordinates delivery of underwriting customer service to clients. Identifies and resolves service issues with clients.
Your Profile
You should have a minimum of 5 years relevant Life Health insurance or reinsurance underwriting experience. Strong analytical skills and Broad range of product experience with authorities which reflect this. Ability to listen and understand client needs. Ability to create rapport maintain strong relationships. Demonstrated ability to work in a team make a valuable contribution. Good team player and self-starter; able to interact with people at various levels. Preferably with regional exposure and fluent in a regional language e.g. Mandarin, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay or Thai.
