Extremely high profile career opportunity to suit a Life Insurance Sector specialist with excellent analytical skills, complemented by the proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Applicants will be high calibre individuals with excellent academics and strong knowledge of the Life Insurance industry gained from Product Management, Client Service, Risk or Distribution within a product provider or Insurance firm or exposure to Life Insurance from a Consultancy or Ratings Agency.
Remit of the role is extremely broad and will involve sector and market research and analysis, the provision of technical advice to internal and external counterparties, undertaking cost benefit analysis, presenting to diverse audiences and liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders. The role is risk-focussed and a good understanding of what constitutes risk both within an individual firm’s business model and the wider Life Insurance market is essential, together with the proven ability to mentor and coach junior members of the team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an awareness of European regulation, which will be complemented by a good general knowledge of the global financial markets and the macro-economic events likely to affect the Life Insurance sector.
