Position Description:

The Lifecycle and Retention Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and managing cardholder marketing campaigns experiences that drive increased engagement, retention, and lifetime value.  This position is based in San Mateo, CA and there will be occasional travel to NetSpend’s headquarters in Austin, Texas.  The company offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including group medical, dental, vision care, and a 4% company match on 401K contributions.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Manage lifecycle marketing projects and initiatives from concept through implementation working directly with key stakeholders to develop business requirements, objectives, customer communications, and marketing plans.

·         Improve customer engagement from point of conversion onward, developing a best-in-class customer experience across contact channels; these include web, email, SMS, direct mail, inbound phone, and social media.

·         Develop proactive and reactive retention marketing treatments that improve cardholder lifetime value

·         Partner with Product Managers to ensure new products features are launched with exceptional marketing campaigns

·         Manage all aspects of email communications strategy including copy, creative, targeting and reporting, working with email coordinator to optimize performance

·         Work with Marketing Analytics team to design tests and campaigns that have reliable and measurable results; implement a continuous cycle of testing and learning

·         Provide direction to internal and external creative resources when developing new marketing materials

·         Collaborate with other marketing channels regularly to share insights, develop ideas, and scale new programs.

 

Skills/Education/Experience:

·         Minimum of 5 years in B to C direct marketing within a service or subscription-based business

·         Experience managing multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns

·         Creative innovative thought leader who is not afraid to take risks

·         Financially savvy with critical problem-solving and quantitative analytical skills

·         Highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently

·         Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal and people influencing skills

·         Bachelor’s degree from top tier University
