Lifeline Community Representative – Winnipeg Job in Manitoba
The Philips Lifeline Community Representative (LCR) is responsible for increasing overall awareness of Philips Lifeline service through direct interaction to a wide range of health care professionals (HCP) and Community contacts.
We are seeking a self-starter/self-motivated individual that will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. This results driven, well organized individual will be tasked to focus on delivering strategies to achieve the territory sales objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To achieve designated activation quota for the assigned territory.
· Contact HCP and community contacts with the objective to have them refer the Philips Lifeline service to their patients.
· LCR Sales approach:
· One on one visit to existing Referral Sources, In-Service presentations, prospecting to potential new Referral Sources and to Community contacts.
· Validate HCP contact information from our Daily Planning Contact List (DPCL) and add any new contacts.
· Identify/understand HCP needs and challenges for personal emergency response systems (PERS)
· Present Philips Lifeline service according to their needs/challenges in helping their patients live at home longer and more independently.
· Provide Philips Lifeline materials such as referral kits, brochures, coupons, surveys, posters, etc, to support the referral sources in their referral work.
· Our clients (Referral Sources – RS):
· Health Care Professionals: Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Discharge Planner, Physiotherapist, Nurse and Home Care Worker. These professionals can be found in hospitals, homecare centers (public and private), and community health care facilities.
· Community contacts: Seniors, seniors’ residence manager, nurse in seniors’ residences and organizations such as VON, VAC and associations supporting seniors.
· Call Frequency –Target an average of 10 calls per day to meet with HCP and community contacts.
· The LCR is responsible for preparing and implementing a quarterly business plan to achieve the target activation level set for the territory/area to cover.
· Fielding and fulfilling requests for other materials
· Identify opportunities within territory provided and market to caregivers and their families
· Perform educational calls directly with Seniors (demonstration/installation)
· Complete a daily call summary report (Keep Track – KT)
· Where appropriate, participate in customer workshops, tradeshows and training meetings
· Achievement of the annual expense budget
Education:
· College diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
General Skills and Knowledge:
· 2-5 years sales experience in the Health Care related or packaged goods industries
· Knowledge of the Health Care industry
· Excellent interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain business relationships
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent planning, organizational and implementation skills
· Displaying an effective business demeanor
· A self-starter who is most effective when working independently and is motivated by being well-rewarded for outstanding performance.
· Computer literacy and experience in Microsoft Office Suite
· Individual who likes to make an impact on peoples lives
· Driver’s license and access to a car
