Lighting Installer, PHOENIX, AZ THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION THROUGH SUPERIOR TECHNICAL STAFFING. THERE ARE NO BENEFITS ASSOCIATED. SLS technicians make an average of 30,000 customer stops per month to perform lighting retrofits, group relamps, service calls, and inspections. Even with all the calls they make, SLS Service Technicians achieve 97% on-time attainment for all scheduled maintenance jobs. Job Description: Responsible for the washing of fixtures or the installation of lamps, ballasts, and other lighting components within various fixture types. This individual will be required to primarily work indoors on ladders, scaffolding, or lift equipment. This individual must be able to follow directions of his/her Crew Leader and work within the SLS Six Point Safety Program. This individual will be required (after training) to work up to or surpass productivity levels predetermined by management. This individual will also be required to take care of all company property given to him to perform his job. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications/Physical Requirements:Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent1-2 years experience in lighting/electrical/mechanical is preferred, but not required. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Should possess good organizational and communication skillsVision: must meet motor vehicle license and DOT medical certification requirementsHearing: must be able to hear co-workers and pass DOT medical certification requirementsWeight: maximum weight of 280 (equipment safety limit)
