Linux Sr. Software Engineer Job in Calabasas, California Us

Adecco Engineering Technical is currently interviewing for Linux Sr. Software Engineer to take on a full-time position in Calabasas, CA. The Linux Sr. Software Engineer will be part of a development team that is responsible for analysis, design, development and debugging of high performance network testing suite of protocols. The Linux Sr. Software Engineer will work on new features as well as on modification and maintenance of existing features. The Linux Sr. Software Engineer will also interact with product management to finalize the system requirements, create feature specifications and review suggested solutions for customer requests. Additional responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:
Responsibilities:

  • Design implement high performance network protocols and middleware components.

  • Code mainly using C C++ on the Linux operating system.

  • Debug and solve issues quickly and independently using Linux tools.

  • Interact with other team members to review the design and fit with other components on the system.

  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize to achieve world class performance.

  • Innovate technical solutions to improve the product competitiveness.

    • Qualifications:

  • BSCS/BSEE in a computer science or software engineering.

  • Experience in full-cycle application development processes is required, from requirements gathering to production

  • 4+ years of experience developing C C++ Linux applications.

  • Experience with Linux kernel development

  • Strong working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, BSD Sockets, Data Structures Algorithms

  • Hands on experience with design and implementation of network protocols using FSM and Asynchronous I/O techniques

  • Proven success designing and implementing complex, high-performance, scalable network applications and components
