Linux Systems Administrator
DESCRIPTION:
· SRS seeks a motivated, reliable and conscientious individual to help SRS grow is management of systems and services in the healthcare environment.
· SRS seeks a Linux expert to work with transaction and service based integrated systems in such disciplines as interfaces, production processes, clinical support systems, EDI, web functions and database maintenance.
· SRS services businesses throughout the US and is renown for efficient designs, reliable products and top flight customer service. SRS is located in Michigan near to the cities Frankenmuth, Saginaw and Bay City. Caro is a medium sized semi-rural town of about 10,000.
GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK:
· Integrated Linux systems: network, database, and application support.
· Hardware interfaces for image, signature and barcode collection, including scanning devices, signature display tablets, debit card devices, remote delivery devices, robotic counting units, laser printing and thermal printing.
· Systems include database design, EDI, security, utility programming, OS functions, and application support.
· Training rotation through key technical groups.
SKILLS:
· Essential:
· CentOS/Fedora Linux
· PostgreSQL/SQL database
· Development, testing and integration methodologies
· Full cycle development and support
· perl/PHP/shell scripting
· Helpful:
· Java
· C++
· Effective use of current and emerging IT products, services and processes.
· Broad understanding of programming logic concepts and application analysis and design techniques.
