Linux VMware System Administrator, Permanent, Zurich area. recruitment
Your main responsibilities will be the administration of the global Linux and Windows server infrastructure, the local and global administration of the IBM Tivoli backup infrastructure, and the local VMware environment. Your tasks will also include global projects, set up and maintenance of servers and storage, and building and installing new IT infrastructure in a global team. Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and prioritising production changes.
To be considered for this position, your CV must reflect the following skills:
- 4 years of System Administration experience
- In depth knowledge of Linux systems
- In depth knowledge of VMware products
- IBM Tivoli experience
- Knowledge of Windows systems
- Networking experience
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Hardware Skills
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
