Experis, a Manpower Company is currently assisting one of its prime telecom clients in DFW area and is actively looking to hire a UNIX/LINUX System Administrator on a fulltime direct hire basis.

CANDIDATES WHO ARE INTERESTED TO APPLY MUST BE WILLING TO WORK NIGHT SHIFTS.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot website, network connectivity and system issues within SLA/escalation guidelines. Take inbound technical support inquiries via phone, e-mail, and voice-mail. Completely and accurately record all change execution updates in the ticketing system. Manage Server or Network monitoring stations in the NOC when necessary. Engineer will be the first point of contact for technical problem resolution. Escalate all non-technical customer issues to Service Managers.
Required skills:
3-5 years of UNIX/LINUX systems administration experience using any of the following:
1. Red Hat or CentOS 4 or 5 on x86-64 hardware platforms.
2. Solaris 9 or 10 on x86-64 or SPARC hardware platforms
3-5 years of supporting LAMP stack or any one of the following:
1. Apache
2. PHP
3. MYSQL
3 years of installation, configuration, administration and support of UNIX/LINUX operating systems.
Preferred qualifications include:
o RHCT or RHCE for version 4 or 5.
o Solaris certifications
o 1st or 2nd level enterprise server support experience with a large managed hosting or web hosting corporation.
