Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY:
Production of funding and liquidity related management reporting
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
- To report and analyse the bank's global liquidity risk. This involves consolidating and analysing large amount of asset and liability data from multiple sources using proprietary systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on the bank's liquidity and funding levels for regulators like the FINMA, FSA, FED, MAS, etc. Responsibilities include monitoring and analysis of these reports.
- Generate reports and management information for internal clients detailing the bank’s liquidity and funding profile, trends and risks.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from internal clients and regulators from all regions.
- Contribute to efficiency and quality through process improvements and/or report enhancements on new and current tasks where applicable.
Division/Department Overview
Global Treasury is part of Credit Suisse's CFO division and contributes especially to its goals by optimizing the use of financial resources and acting as a guardian of the bank's financial franchise. We achieve these goals by efficiently managing our capital and ensuring adequate funding and liquidity for the bank and its parent company. Global Treasury is managed centrally along the following functional lines: Capital Management, Funding Currency Exposure Management, Liquidity and ALM. In addition, Treasury has senior representation in each region covering these functional areas in order to ensure appropriate support for all Divisions and Shared Service functions.

Qualifications
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
- Candidates with Accounting, Finance, or Risk Management qualifications/ experience in these areas within a banking environment are preferred. However, applicants from other backgrounds with relevant skills will be considered.
- Candidate must have at least 2 years working experience with liquidity reporting, product control, data analysis or equivalent
- Some knowledge of the asset, liability and derivative products commonly employed in financial markets for trading and risk management purposes would be beneficial.
- Equipped with a basic understanding of the typical organisational structure of a global bank would be useful.
- Highly numerate and excellent teamwork skills with a flexible approach are essential in forming good collaboration within the team and with partners from all regions.
- Working to strict reporting deadlines for internal clients in Zurich, New York, and London.
