Liquidity Risk Analyst (Treasury) recruitment

Global Liquidity Risk Management (GLRM) is an independent Risk function responsible for managing and monitoring Bank of America’s exposure to potential liquidity and cash outflows over a period of time.  Liquidity risk is now a key focus among management and regulators, particularly in light of market events between 2007 and 2009 (Global Credit Crisis) 

International Liquidity Risk Management (ILRM) is the London-based division of GLRM responsible for Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s liquidity risk in non-US entities, including MBNA, Merrill Lynch International (MLI), Merrill Lynch International Bank Ltd (MLIB), Merrill Lynch Commodities (Europe) (MLCE), Banc of America Securities Ltd (BASL), and the EMEA branches of Bank of America N.A. (BANA). International work is also an opportunity, working with the regulators and Treasurers in the United Kingdom, across the EU, Singapore, Japan, Latin America, Australia and others as required.

ILRM is now looking for a Liquidity Risk Analyst who would be able to support the group’s ongoing management reporting and product development requirements.

Duties and responsibilities may include the following:

• Assisting in the preparation of regulatory and senior management reporting material using an in house database and query tool.

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly presentations to risk committees, the FSA, the Federal Reserve and other regulators.

• Identifying and assessing factors that may act as Early Warning Indicators for Liquidity Risk.

• Supporting the development and documentation of Stress Tests and Scenarios.

• Supporting other ad hoc projects relating to liquidity, capital management, and legal entity structure

Regulatory reporting experience would be very beneficial for this role.

An ideal candidate will have proven working experience with a background in Financial reporting or Risk analysis.
