Our client, one of the world's largest investment banks, currently seeks a Listed Derivatives Global Risk Manager, to be based in London

The Listed Derivatives Global Risk Manager will be responsible for:

-Leading and overseeing the global operational risk and control agenda for Listed Derivatives reporting into the Global Head of Clearing Operations Risk
-Proactively identifying regulatory or financial risk.
-Providing support to the organisation on audit reviews and manage control-related activities that ensure a sound control environment.
-Maintaining a strong control through the on-going development of key metrics such as Key Risk Indicators, capacity constraints and incident reporting and tracking.
-Building a strong relationship with business unit Risk Management, Internal and External Auditors; Legal and Compliance

As such, the successful Listed Derivatives Global Risk Manager will have the following skills and experience:

-Degree or equivalent educated preferred
-Strong experience in the financial industry with specific in depth experience within Listed Derivative Operations essential
-Demonstrated ability of evaluating and identifying areas of risk across an organisation
-Ability to identify and implement best practices and in some cases help shape the investment agenda
-Good interpersonal skills to build cross-divisional relationships; gain support and respect from key stakeholders (Business Unit, Operations, FCG , Legal Compliance)
