Litigation Expense Specialist
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION? In order to meet its obligations to insureds facing litigation, The Hartford has established relationships with a network of attorneys and law firms. The primary responsibility of this position is to evaluate the reasonableness of attorney fees and expenses. You will also contribute to the improvement of our panel counsel program and financial controls by using your bill review work as a window into law firm quality and claim handling. You will be a critical part of a specialized team that delivers The Hartford's best in class legal audit services. To be successful you will need to engage directly with a broad range of internal and external customers. This job requires a keen attention to detail and an un-ending curiosity.
