My client is looking for an energetic, dynamic and motivated individual with a background in Hire and Logistics who is client facing to join their team. The overview of the role is to work on the hire desk for this busy AV company based in the South West (Bristol area) and generally be a bit of an all rounder, so the duties can vary from delivering a flipchart presenter to a hotel to running small events and all the things in between. This role is focused on someone who knows the running of a busy hire department but who wants to take their career in a positive step forwards and has a good degree of commercial acumen as you will be expected to meet clients when required and help grow the business, ideally you should want to develop into a position where you can become the Branch Manager within a short period of time..
You will be well organized and have knowledge of the following equipment including, staging, lighting FX and controls, sound installations (both temp and perm), sound control, rigging and rack-building, projections, and flat screen technologies, have an aptitude for the unusual as well as understanding the needs of your customers from within the live events, conferencing and exhibition industries. You will be customer facing, polite and have an out going attitude as you will need to deal with customer enquiries.
