Overview

As an IT Portfolio Analyst, you will be working with various groups within the company GTO to understand, prioritize, design, and build out our Portfolio Management Solutions. You will be working with mid to senior level management to understand their project and program management needs. You will be configuring the environment to support program, project, demand, and resource management. The company is currently evaluating platforms; the successful candidate will be part of the process in standing up a platform. The majority of responsibilities are not in portfolio analysis but in supporting the stakeholders using a portfolio management system (ie Project Managers, Program Managers, Executives, Resource Managers, etc.).

Contract Description:

• Provide overall thought leadership around Portfolio management, specifically around Portfolio Management systems.
• Work with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure the Portfolio Management Solution is being configured correctly
• Work with a consulting firm to initially configure the tool. The maintenance of the tool will eventually be supported by offshore development.
• Test changes and coordinate release to production motion
• Create/update training documentation and manuals
• Answer ad-hoc questions from users

Qualifications
• Working experience with a Portfolio Management tool (HP’s PPMC tool, Microsoft Project Server, EPM Live, Planview, etc.)
• Specific experience with Demand Management, Project Management, Program Management, and Resource Management.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Project, specifically effort based scheduling.
• Extensive Project Management experience. PMP preferred.
• Experience with leading training classes and developing/updating training documentation.
• This position is a contract to hire position. Preferred location is New Providence, NJ. Other possible locations are Dayton, OH and Cary, NC.
