LNG Analyst - Commodities Consultancy, London
We are looking for an LNG Analyst to join a Global Oil and Gas Consultancy based in London.
The Role
The role wits within the Global Gas and Power Research team and the LNG Analyst will be responsible for providing analysis and insight into the LNG markets. Through some of the best training and development the world of Management Consulting has to offer, the LNG Analyst will become a recognised expert on LNG with a focus on EMEA markets.
The role will involve a combination of research and analysis from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective. The LNG Analyst will develop analysis for multiple gas research products by taking a lead role in preparing reports on the markets whilst supporting LNG and gas advisory and consulting mandates as required. The LNG Analyst will also be involved in forecasting, economic modelling to produce this insight. Furthermore the role with involve working with wider areas of the business including wider research teams, consultants and internal management.
You Will Have:
- Strong 1st Class or 2.1 degree from a top tier university is ideal.
- A degree in Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics or another numerate degree is Ideal.
- Strong interest in becoming an analytical expert in the Gas markets.
- Ideally at least 2 years relevant industry experience within Gas or LNG markets.
- Experience in understanding economic modelling and forecasting is ideal.
- Strong Excel ability.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to develop relationships with internal management and external clients.
