Loan Documentation Specialist, Real Estate Investment
Our client is a property investment firm offering a rare opportunity for a Loan Administration specialist to work in a standalone role offering huge variety and scope.
Our client is looking to expand their property investment portfolio significantly in 2014 and the Loan Administration Specialist will take full ownership for the business.
Your loans administration experience will include a detailed knowledge and prior experience of loan documentation negation of loan documents to ensure that documents reflect the Heads of Terms agreed with the banks and also to negotiate where that is not the case.
As Loans Administration specialist for the firm you will work closely with the finance and legal teams. If candidates show a keen interest and aptitude to take on additional responsibilities, there is capacity for this role to assume responsibility for compliance regulation such as money laundering for example.
Candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise externally with investment banks and work closely with deal originators and Fund / Portfolio Managers internally.
This role will appeal to experienced loan administration specialists coming from either an investment banking or investment management background. This is an exceptional opportunity to evolve this function taking on additional responsibilities to include compliance and take sole responsibility for loan administration for the firm.
Candidates will ideally have a degree hold a financial or law degree with relevant loan administration experience looking for the next step in their career. You demonstrate strong communication skills to support Front Office and to earn credibility as the firms documentation subject matter expert.
