Loan Executive
Reporting to the Head of International Lending
The Role:
Reviewing new business opportunities and preparing relevant proposals for consideration by Credit Committee and bringing transaction to financial close. Management of a loan portfolio of basic bilateral and syndicated loands to international banks, corporate clients and sovereigns
Essential Duties:
- Analysis and assessment of credits, preparation and submission of credit proposals to Credit Committee
 - Documentation review, involving analysis (in conjunction with Legal Manager and Head of International Lending where appropriate) of all documentation from both a credit and legal perspective
 - Ongoing review and assessment of existing exposures, including covenant compliance
 - Monitor receipt of financial information from clients and follow up on overdue information
 - Conduct annual reviews in line with agreed criteria
 - Communication with agent/arranger banks, Head Office and Back Office departments
 - Preparation of portfolio information reports (both monthly and ad-hoc) as agreed with Management from time to time
 - Ensure issues are identified, escalated as appropriate and addressed promptly
 
Essential Skills Experience:
- A minimum of 18 months experience in a Lending or Credit environment would be ideal
 - Excellent financial analysis and credit analysis skills
 - Good computer skills (working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word essential)
 - Good interpersonal skills
 - Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and complete associated documentation
 - Ability to manage multiple priorities (including work of others)

Education  Experience:
- Relevant Business Degree (min 2.1) and/or accountancy qualification
 - Excellent MS Excel MS Word skills essential
