Loan Underwriter
This person will be part of the business responsible for serving high net worth clients. Individual responsibilities for this role include pre-screening transactions; conducting all due diligence on crew credit requests (credit analysis, financial statement analysis, meet with perspective clients); prepare and negotiate structuring recommendations with the firms credit policy; make approvals or decline recommendations to credit approvers; work with legal counsel to prepare, negotiate and execute loan agreements; manage all loan requests; maintain ongoing communication with Origination Team and FAs.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 10 plus years of financial experience. Candidates must have experience lending against both Securities and Real Estate; strong redit analysis experience. Must be detail oriented and have exceptional analytics skills; Strong accounting and finance knowledge; Excellent communication and presentation skills; maintain poise and have exceptions interpersonal skills to manage relationships with sophisticated high net worth clients and their advisors.
