Loans Administrator
The Leveraged Finance team, comprising over 40 investment professionals, arranges and underwrites Senior and Unitranche debt facilities for businesses with EBITDA €15m.
Role Summary/Purpose
As part of a well-respected team, the successful candidate will support GE’s Loan Agency activity and play an integral role in customer related activity. The roll demands energy, enthusiasm and ability to work in a busy and structured environment. It promises to be varied, rewarding and above all, an opportunity to learn and develop commercial skills. This role would suit a professional with loans administration experience gained within the financial services industry.
Essential Responsibilities:
As part of a dedicated team to assist the Agency Team Leader in providing a quality service to our borrowers and loan syndicate members.
To perform various commercial tasks on behalf of the team:
- Communication (written and verbal) with Borrowers Syndicate members
- Gaining an understanding of individual deal Financing Agreements
- Handling of Agency Notices
- Transacting Loan Roll Overs
- Handling security documentation
- Handling of Waiver and Amendment requests
- Preparing payments
- Ensuring transactions comply with GE internal and external regulator policies
- Updating the Loan Database Software with current transactions
- Reviewing key performance indicators – identifying exceptions and investigating root causes
- Assist in process improvement projects (“simplification”) and possibly, run a small projec
Qualification/Requirements:
- Practical working knowledge of Loans Administration
- Project a credible professional image – demonstrate customer focus
- Good numerate. written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to listen isolate essential data and summarise succinctly
- Passion for accuracy – able to follow processes and instructions
- Ability to work in a busy team and support team members – remain motivated and complete complex tasks
- Adopts a methodical structured approach to problem solving
- IT literate
