Our client is an organisation who represents the interests of their member Banks to actively lobby laws and regulations that will affect the banking industry. They have an opportunity for a driven and knowledgeable individual to join the organisation at Manager level to assist with their growing activities.
The successful candidate will be required to deal with issues relating to various aspects of banking and financial services. You will have frequent interaction with industry professionals and regulators in relation to shaping policies and regulations that will affect the banking industry. The responsibilities will include coordinating responses and preparing well-argued submissions that represent member's views and to liaise with the government and regulators.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum 10 years banking industry experience, or experience within a banking regulator
- Proven ability to comprehend complex and technical subject matter
- Excellent writing ability and experience presenting arguments and proposing logical conclusions
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- University graduate
- Strong team player with ability to build excellent relationships with all levels of clients and colleagues
- Driven individual with strong project and time management skills
