Local Currency EM Sales
Leading global investment bank looking to add a Senior Emerging Market sales person to cover European / UK financial institutions / hedge funds. The role will be located in LONDON. The ideal candidate will have a MINIMUM of 5 years experience (senior profiles welcome also) selling global emerging market currency fixed income cash bonds ( credit and interest rates ) to UK financial Institutions / Hedge funds
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with UK-based clients
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Improve levels of business passing through the emerging markets desk, improving profitability
- Focus on financial institutions / Hedge funds in the UK.
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas.
- Maintain and develop relationships with institutional clients and family offices in the USA
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas with regards to global emerging market fixed income, both credit and interest rates ( Sovereigns / Government Bonds / Corporate Bonds / Corporate Credit ).
- Distribution of Emerging Market Fixed Income
- Build and extend marketing reach for Emerging Markets products to the client base, cross selling of Emerging Market local currency products
- Increase volume and profitability of existing client base
- Work with Investment Banking Department targeting new clients and expanding coverage
- Source new potential clients and onboard relationships in the UK
Skills / Attributes required:
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- MUST have a very good knowledge of Emerging Market products and industry
- Must have emerging market knowledge and experience in the industry
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
- Proven track record of impressive revenues generated from EMERGING MARKET sales
- A transferable book of clients based in the UK to bring to the new role.
