Local Intermodal Dispatcher
TRANSInternational System, Inc., a 38 year old Ohio based Intermodal Transportation Company with terminals in Detroit, Columbus, Marysville, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston and Jacksonville is looking for a good person to join our winning team in Detroit, Michigan.
The Ideal Candidate must be highly motivated, results oriented self starter and requires a strong Intermodal Transportation and Terminal Operations Background, computer skills, a strong leadership background and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Duties include:
Dispatching Owner Operators
Scheduling
Safety
Per diem
Retaining Owner Operators / Partners
Position Requirements:
5 to 6 years dispatch experience
Possess industry knowledge needed to work with complex logistical issues
Trucking Industry and Intermodal transportation
Strong computer skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Able to work independently in a fast paced and demanding environment
Well organized
Time management skills
