Local Market Interest Rate trader in Brazil recruitment
Investment bank looking to hire a trader to join the local market trading desk in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The ideal candidate will be a specialist in EM rates trading with a recent focus on Brazil and Latam Markets, but having traded G7 rates in the past. The focus will be cash and plain IR derivatives across the curve.
Responsibilities:
• Brazil Local Market, Latam, Govies, swaps, Options, Futures
• Must make markets as well as look to make profit on a proprietary basis
• Effectively manage and take own risk
• Develop desk tools and databases
Skills / Attributes :
- Minimum 4 years Latam Rates trading experience in this space
- Proven track record trading Latam, Brazilian, government bonds, Options, swaps and futures
- Experienced using standard pricing tools: Bloomberg etc
