Localisationm Project Manager Job in Dublin, Dublin Ireland
Position
We are currently looking for a Junior PM, initially in a short term role to run projects with on-going clients, but primarily focusing on one major customer.
The main project itself is not complex, but large. The bulk of the role involves co-ordinating a large team of translators in 1 language, to ensure they can deliver highest quality to schedule. Experience across all aspects of large technical translation project.
Typical tasks include:
- Receipt of new projects from multiple clients.
- Reserving / booking translation language QA resources.
- Support with file analysis / Prep in Trados / Frequent Segment extraction
- Daily Preparation and Maintaining of Schedules
- Issue PO to vendors
- Glossary extraction using Multi-term extract
- Resolving Language Queries between teams
- Maintaining up to date glossary / client feedback with language QA team
- Running Language QA tools and supporting teams to ensure highest quality.
- Some DTP / Engineering / VO work, not a large amount.
- Client interaction via emails mostly.
Duration
This is a short term position of 3 months. However suitable candidates may find the opportunity to continue working with the company after this.
Required Experience
- Talented / Meticulous Localization Project Manager
- Excellent co-ordination skills and attention to detail
- Min 2-3 years In-house Localization PM experience
- Brilliant ability to keep track of necessary steps, and keep large team moving towards end goal.
- Ability to work with outsource teams to support / encourage to ensure deliveries
- Flexible and ability to juggle tasks / juggle multiple projects
