Moody's LOD group, part of the Human Resources department, consults with the business to identify the knowledge and skills necessary to drive employee performance and plans and implements organizational, management and leadership development initiatives for line of business clients. The group designs and delivers team development, classroom training and e-learning programs for managers in MA, MIS and Shared Services globally, and manages the in-sourcing of specialist expertise in areas such as executive coaching and 360 degree assessments. In addition, the group manages global HR and OD initiatives including change management programs and employee engagement surveys.

Responsibilities
The LOD Specialist designs and delivers training and development programs for managers and employees, including tailored content for regions outside the US, and supports the development and implementation of global HR/OD initiatives.
- Consults with business and HR clients to identify the leadership, management and professional development and skill building needs of the organization and provides practical and creative recommendations for delivering high impact development solutions.
- Designs development programs, tools and content for delivery across multiple platforms, including classroom training, e-learning, blended learning and webinars.
- Ensures all communication and instructional materials support development or skill building objectives.
- Facilitates pilot, instructor-led and train-the-trainer workshops, presenting credibly to all participant levels.
- Coordinates the delivery of training and development initiatives including scheduling and communication.
- Tailors existing and new training and development content to meet business needs.
- Supports performance consulting efforts for managers and teams, as necessary.
- Coordinates and facilitates e-learning, webinar, lunch and learn and ad hoc development activities.
- Collects, analyzes and reports program metrics and feedback from participants and clients.
- Determines strengths and weaknesses in the design and delivery of development activities and implements improvements.
- Identifies follow-through activities to embed learning and development in the organization.
- Supports the development and implementation of global HR/OD programs, including change management initiatives, employee engagement surveys and talent management programs.
- Manages multiple assignments simultaneously; is able to break assignments into component tasks and execute on time and to a high level of quality.
- Effectively manages project communications, including design, status and issues, with stakeholders at all levels as appropriate.

Qualifications
- 7-10 years' experience in a corporate learning and development group, with demonstrated ability to implement high impact management and professional development initiatives for a multinational organization.
- Expertise in classroom training, including training development, instructional design, and facilitation with senior-level audiences.
- Experience with e-learning, blended learning and web-based training.
- Experience developing instructional materials, including simulations, role play activities, case studies, experiential activities, pre- and post- tests, and instructor guides.
- Ability to quickly establish credibility and effective working relationships with all levels of staff, including senior management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and facilitation communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Practical experience of delivering on-site training in regions outside the US preferred.
- Background in financial services or professional services industries preferred.
- Bachelor's degree with corporate experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite.
