Logistic MNC - Senior Accountant
A top logistic MNC is currently seeking an experience accountant with experience within a firm with regional experience. My client is looking to further expand their exposure in Hong Kong with the growth ofChinaand hence they are looking for an individual with experience dealing with MNC especially within the South East Asia Region. This accountant will work directly under the finance manager who reports in to the regional head.
The successful individual will be a bright individual who takes initiative to tackle and improve on daily task.
Responsibilities to Senior Accountant Position (but not limited to)
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
- Assist in month end closing.
- Supervise and monitor a small team of junior accountants
- Ability to identify and collate accurate and meaningful information.
- Produce analytical reports and presentations.
- Knowledge of the International Financial Accounting standards
- Comprehensive understanding of financial and Management reporting techniques.
Requirements to senior accountant position (but not limited to)
- At least 3 years of financial accounting experience within the servicing and technology industry
- Good knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience in Logistic industry / MNC / PRC will be preferred
- Understands the Policies and procedures for government regulations
- Good English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage
- Qualified accountant (CPA or Equivalent) and related Degree holder
